ABSTRACT
Thomas Jefferson was unique among US presidents as he was both a lawyer and an architect (and mastered other disciplines as well). Did he apply his design skills to write the Declaration of Independence or as President? Perhaps we’ll never know, but in any case there are lawyers today 130who believe that design thinking greatly facilitates the way they confront situations in their legal practices.
