ABSTRACT

This chapter gives some pointers for training, guidelines, responsibility structure, content calendars, accounts information, and password storage. The training in how to operate and manage a system such as a content management system (CMS), customer relationship management program (CRM), ecommerce platform, etc. must have continuity and the actual training and training materials are often supplied by the vendor and the responsibility of the vendor that supplied the software. Behavioral training is most often in relation to social media and how to conduct oneself and respond in the different media. Listen to the community that is participating in the social forum and be compliant with the relevant local, national or international guidelines and regulations. For large multi-national companies one calendar could become too complex and work against its purpose. For companies where factors such as culture and socio economic and demographic realities determine product mix, language, and the priority of content topics, a multi-calendar solution would work best.
