ABSTRACT
This chapter revisits the five themes that the two dialogue initiatives have explored in common. Following a brief recapitulation, the chapter discusses the significance of the dialogue as such, including some brief comment on historical and contemporary dimensions and also the significance of dialogue being intentionally theological. What might all this portend for ongoing relations between Christianity and Islam? The chapter closes with some comment on the future of Christian–Muslim dialogue, both in respect to the Building Bridges Seminar and the Christian–Muslim Theological Forum, as well as more widely.
