ABSTRACT

As we live in the new e-global age, corporations must learn to take advantage of the many opportunities that new developments in electronic technology provide. Their future success will be determined by how well they are able to harness new technologies in innovative ways, furthering the future corporation's strategies. The e-global age is highly dynamic, and firms are not able to seek optimal solutions as Henry Ford was able to do. Ford was able to optimize his assembly lines, in a stable engineering environment. Global strategy is much more than a larger scale of domestic business strategy. There are many challenges and uncertainties in the global market such as cultural differences, language barriers, government laws and regulations, importance of different markets, unique needs of local customers, and the like. Humans will be the key in the 21st century e-global age. Management will be responsible to identify employee strengths, interests and knowledge.
