ABSTRACT

Participants write their names and positions on small cards that they also decorate in some meaningful way. They then mix and mingle for a few minutes, introducing themselves to each other using their unique 'business cards'. Tell participants to make themselves business cards with their names, job positions and any other 'fun' information they want to include. Instead of a number of business cards, have each participant make one large business card that they hang around their neck or pin to their clothes, then mix and mingle introducing themselves. Add some lively music to the activity, especially when participants are mixing and mingling and sharing their cards. Have inductees electronically design their individual business cards and post them on the induction website. Once all the cards are posted on the website, participants send people e-mail votes for the best cards. Post results on the website in a Hall of Fame so that all players can see how well they did.
