ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the following areas of innovation seen in many firms: Project management, Mergers, Corporate social responsibility (CSR), services developed with clients. Innovation, the twelfth element of the Client Management Model, explains: Most Clients expect their suppliers to be innovative and to demonstrate examples of their creativity when bidding for new work. In international assignments across many borders, project management is an essential part of the Client management process. Many Clients use project management techniques and processes in their own businesses, so it is not surprising that they may demand evidence of such skills of their suppliers. The driving force behind CSR programmers often starts in one part of the firm. A CSR forum supports that the changes implemented by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). This requires organizations to measure and report on environmental and social, as well as the financial impact of their business.
