ABSTRACT
The busines concerning the Plantación of the Country lying upon the River of the Amazons in the West Indies being the day heard at the Boarde. It was thought fitt that before any small resolución were taken therein the patent formerly graunted to Capten Harecourt should be perused and looked unto. Whereas Captaine Roger North is lately gonn out from the Port of Plimouth in a Shipp bound for the River of the Amazons in the West Indies, contrary to his Majesties expresse pleasure, and Comaundement signifyed unto him by a Secretarie of State. Letteres of the tenor following directed to the persons under named. Whereas his Majestic taketh notice that have been a favorer and Assistant unto Capten North now in his Voyage to the River of the Amazons, aswell by yeilding unto him of many Supplies, as by exchainging his Moneys, keepeing of his Accompts and otherwise.
