ABSTRACT

Today's international investor is confronted with a far more volatile and uncertain world than before the global economic downturn. The eurozone crisis has alarmed leaders beyond Europe's borders, too: China, the USA and other major global economies have all been calling for Europe's leaders to take bold and decisive action to avoid contagion and the triggering of another global economic crisis. Yet the dim macroeconomic outlook is not the only worry preying on foreign investor's minds. Ease of market access and doing business will be at or near the top of the list of investor's considerations. Meanwhile, foreign investors recently named Dubai their preferred location in the Middle East, citing ease of doing business, best-in-class infrastructure and advanced logistics facilities as some of the emirate's key investment attributes. A broad range of services is offered to potential investors, including: partner and investment opportunity identification, location services, visiting programmes and benchmark analyses.
