ABSTRACT
In this chapter I continue my analysis of how different social movements and organizations on North Ambrym operate, now focusing on the Lolihor Development Council. In the analysis of this council I give particular attention to how leadership in this council has developed and compare it to other organizations, past and present, in terms of the gendered distinction I have outlined in the previous chapters.
