ABSTRACT
Interoperability refers to the ability of diverse systems to work together or interoperate, without any special effort on the part of the customer or end-user. It is the ability of two or more networks, systems, devices, applications or components to exchange information between them and to use the information so exchanged. Interoperability standards can help facilitate data integration and transmission.
