ABSTRACT

This chapter covers the integrated value system in Islam that supports I. Theory/Management by Values'. This value system leads to the creation of an environment for a culturally oriented approach to management. Dr. Assaf said there and then that he had already begun work on an Islamic theory of management, based on Islamic thought and values. Six months later, TEAM won a bid for organisational development. It was for a computer programming company owned by the Jordanian Islamic Organisation. He said that it was a great opportunity to implement our new management theory. These values are related to political authority as the basis of any human group's existence, whatever its level or size. Justice-oriented values have a unifying effect within the organisation. They are related to socio-economic effectiveness as an ultimate core value in the business organisation. In the final analysis, the Liberal model emphasises the initiative' value, which is based on freedom as a life value.
