ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I continue the description of the three plotlines identifi ed as illustrating the identity journeys of the 20 participants in this research study. I will detail fi rst the explicit double-life and fragmented-self plotline, moving to integration (described by nine participants), then outline the journey of intellectual and cognitive certainty, to doubt, then a complete loss of faith (described by three participants).
