ABSTRACT
The theme of this book addresses two broad and apparently isolated areas of business management. One is R&D and the other is project management. In Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 various aspects of R&D have been described. In this chapter the fundamentals of project management are presented so that in subsequent chapters we can view the two themes of the book in their relevant context.
