ABSTRACT

Russia is the center of attention of the international community. This is related to the effect of the Western economic sanctions and Russian response measures. Measures of sanction and counter-sanction policy come into conflict with the WTO's basic principles. Ratification of the Protocol provided that Russia as a WTO member state assumed all the obligations under the Marrakesh Agreement. At the macroeconomic level, the gains of some sectors are offset by losses in other sectors of the economy. It is important to know the relationships among industries and enterprises at the cross-sectoral level. Summing up the results of the assessment of the effects of Russia's accession to the WTO on the agricultural machinery sector, it should be said that WTO membership may have a negative effect on the industry, but a lot will depend on domestic and foreign policy. Russia's cooperation with the ASEAN states is not less promising as a development area of its trade policy.
