ABSTRACT

Actual leadership represents the quality or fitness level of leadership currently taking place, with actual fulfilment and well-being linked to it. The gap between actual and globally fit leadership is the room for leadership improvement. To close the gap between actual and globally fit leadership we need to identify and reduce the MisLeadership that is taking place. It is a continuum so every improvement people make to actual fitness will move up the continuum. Force-Field Analysis is a change tool developed by Kurt Lewin in the 1960s. It refers to consideration of the forces which exist for and against successful implementation of a plan, and the relative strengths of these forces. It derives from the basic law of physics that in a state of equilibrium forces acting on an object must be in balance and in order to move an object in a particular direction, the forces pushing that way must be greater than those pushing the other way.
