ABSTRACT
This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book discusses the issue of whether one have any good grounds to believe that there are any propositions that are clearly divinely certified to be revealed truths. It examines grounds other than alleged revelations that might be offered for the belief that God is omnipotent. The book expounds the understanding of divine power in process theism and shows how it solves the problems of evil. The range of issues proposes a process theistic response is one of the features that distinguish this work from earlier attempts to argue for the superiority of process theism to traditional theism in relation to the problem of evil. Atheists, agnostics, and non-traditional Christian theists give reasons for thinking the discrepancy indicates a serious problem with the beliefs that generate it.
