ABSTRACT

Once the implementation of a project is complete, there are often a number of tasks that remain. The outcome of the project is normally documented using an evaluation procedure. Such a document would then be used as the formal project closure report. The end of a project also normally comprises a handover of appropriate activities, perhaps to the operational team, and a release of the resources that were being used on the project and possibly their reassignment. Project timescales can be much shorter than the timescales required to effect a behavioural or cultural change. A new risk assessment process was the outcome of a project implementation. Change management and good communication often need to be a core part of the implementation plan, especially if behavioural change is a required outcome of the project.
