ABSTRACT
The Italian spiritual research engines offering links to sites of, for example, psychics, mediums, seers, guiding spirits, healers and astrologers. Italians increasingly hold that church religion does not possess exclusive access to spirituality, which may come from churches and enter people's daily lives. While the former is linked to the Catholic Church and a transcendent conception of the sacred, the latter stands on its own feet, unmoored from Christianity. The idea of the personal God of Christianity prevails, the only spiritual appear more inclined to believe in a superior being different from a transcendent God.
