ABSTRACT

Forty-seven of us who constituted the first batch of management students at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIMC) were waiting in the classroom for the arrival of the teacher. A highly-experienced professional with equally impressive academic credentials, the professor came to the class.
