ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses planning the interview question. Once you have completed the question plan that you feel comfortable with or at least able to commence with, you have to be able to conduct the interviews and that involves a whole set of different skills and organization. There are some basic questions you can ask that revolve around the five Ws: why, what, where, when and who; and the one H: how. These need to be tailored to the role your interviewee fills. Interviewees may want to appear invisible in the report. However, it is not easy to mask someone if they are strong, extremely one-sided or the role that person takes in the company is few and far between: the viewpoint will make it clear who the individual is. Interviewees might ask to see a copy of the final report.
