ABSTRACT

This chapter gives you an overview of how to manage an interview in terms of keeping it on track and on time by the things the candidate say, when the candidate say them and how the candidate say them. Here are two absolutely true stories that illustrate how easy it is to run off track and not get what the candidate want. The interview itself is so important for the interviewee and client. The candidate's professionalism is on the line and exposed if candidate fall short. Planning will alleviate many of the shortfalls and proper execution should remove any concerns him, his interviewee and client might have had. The chapter explores a point with the example interview is that by planning ahead, finding out the context, and in setting interview objectives and questions to ask, the candidate more likely to elicit information that is really relevant to the engagement.
