ABSTRACT

Eastman Kodak Company is a multi-national US corporation which produces imaging and photographic materials and equipment. Long known for its wide range of photographic film products, Kodak is refocusing on two major markets: digital photography and digital printing. Named by Forbes Magazine as the 'Celebrity CMO' for his numerous television and public appearances, Jeffrey Hayzlett was responsible for the Kodak company's worldwide marketing operations, including the design and implementation of all marketing strategies, investments, policies, and processes. One of the first things Hayzlett tackled when he became Chief marketing officers (CMO) was negotiating the consolidation of Public relations (PR) disciplines which were split between PR reporting to marketing and corporate communications reporting to legal. Hayzlett also continues to contribute to the marketing profession. Market research and data management did not report into Hayzlett's marketing organization although governance of the group was in conjunction with marketing.
