ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses some of the Provisions in Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. Article 3 states that no one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. According to Article 6, In the determination of his civil rights and obligations or of any criminal charge against him, everyone is entitled to a fair and public hearing within a reasonable time by an independent and impartial tribunal established by law. As per Article 9, Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private. Article 11 states that everyone has the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and to freedom of association with others, including the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of his interests.
