ABSTRACT
A n d when the noble En G. de Castellnou had departed from Collo, he went until he came to the city of Rome with his galleys, and he went to where the Pope was. The Pope answered thus : “ That the Lord King had hidden his purpose from him and that he would give him now no assistance, neither money nor a crusade nor anything.” And the said noble protested in the manner that the Lord King had commanded.
