ABSTRACT
There is a small revolution going on in retail in England that will have major consequences for city centres and nearby properties. A popular shopping street is part of an infrastructure with shops and houses that are within walking distance from which they also derive a certain value. According to a study carried out in England the value of property is 12% higher if it is close to a shopping centre.
