ABSTRACT
The hypothesis was tested using the case of hydro electric power (HEP) for a selection of HEP plants. There were two parts to the test; part one tested the parameters against data for the reservoir and dam, and the second part tested the hypothesis through the concept of stream power for the river reaches below the dams.
