ABSTRACT
For academic based research, you will need to obtain ethical approval for the research that you are undertaking. This will normally involve the completion of a form that provides enough information for the reviewer to understand the scope of the project, the sample and data collection methods. In order to be able to apply for this ethical approval, you will need to have a thorough understanding of what you will be researching, with clear aims and objectives specified and a proposed method detailed. This is covered in Chapter 6.
