ABSTRACT

One of the most common reasons that companies give for not offering internships is that interns need too much supervision and they simply do not have the time to keep an eye on them or find things to keep them busy. That is why they want to be pro-active on our internship. We basically have two missions during our internship. We want to show the company and our supervisors what we have to offer. At the same time, we want to learn more about our craft. Once we have been shown how to do a task, tell our supervisor that we are happy to take care of that job each time that we come in if it needs to be done. That is pro-active interning. Feedback is important and we want to seek it out whenever we can whether it is good or bad.
