ABSTRACT
Individuality is the ability to have a character that is unique and distinguished from others. Humanistic psychology advocates that each person is born with a unique potential. A person has to strive to fulfill his/her special potential. The Internet is likely to continue to grow both in terms of the services it offers and the speed of delivery. Already, people live lives that are intensely documented, in no small part due to social media. This trend will only increase, and soon it will be the case that almost everything will be documented, whether by computer, smartphone, or Internet cameras. The digital world a person inhabits is dynamic, challenging, and sometimes frightening. But a person has many choices: he/she can choose to drift or be tossed around in his/her boat, at the mercy of the ocean, or he/she can invest in an effective navigation system.
