ABSTRACT

The conclusion takes the election of Donald Trump as an opportunity for thinking through possibilities for moving beyond neoliberal hegemony and the horizons of left and right neoliberalism. Specifically, the conclusion argues that we need common stories, common reason, and common horizons. For, in order to create a world of living in common, we must think and act against the four Ds of disimagination, de-democratization, disposability, and dispossession, and cultivate capacities for educated hope, affirmative speculation, organizing, radical equality, shared security, and common wealth.
