The focus of this chapter will be on comparisons indicating whether two items are similar/ identical or different.
25.1 Making comparisons using ⢘ The basic word order is ‘A 跟 B (不) 一样’. There might be more than one way to translate such a comparison into English, but there is only one sentence pattern in Chinese. Also, 不一样 can be replaced by 不同 (bùtóng).
