ABSTRACT
Amongst the subjects on which Kant lectured was ‘Physical Geography’. On account of the abundance of material, he split off from it ‘Anthropology’, which he introduced as a separate subject from the Winter Session 1772–3 onwards, and in which he spoke in an arresting manner on the knowledge and observation of human nature. In the second part of this course, he gave an outline of ‘Education’.
