ABSTRACT

Fortunately, there is worldwide interest in presenting art classes as Centers of Innovation. Even before the people depart to Woodstock, the author suitcase has many inspiring pieces that play in their mind as the people discuss their finds and purchases. Art teaching for innovation requires making sure that students who come to the art class are prepared, having seen and shopped their environment. They are referred to as Building Labs, Object Labs, Material Labs, or Innovation Laboratories. While their parents are working in the city there is little censorship in what objects they can save, and the haul they pull up the hill with the old Big Chief wagon to their innovation site. A sea of found objects shared from student’s summer travels and sightings are all around the entrance and the author peruse through the containers as they make their way, making a path, cutting the ribbon to ceremonially open another season in the innovation studio.
