ABSTRACT

The conclusion chapter provides a summary of the findings from each of the chapters and integrates these into a typology describing four principal types of SME internationalisation on the basis of the market investment and degree of creativity/intensity. The value of this typology for future research design is discussed and the chapter concludes with recommendations for future practice.
