ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts of the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explains that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia encountered several new challenges, including the possible fallout of the signing of the Iranian nuclear deal, growing influence of Houthis in Yemen and increasing footprints of the DAESH/Islamic State in its neighbourhood, besides the continued Syrian stalemate. King Salman also expressed his concerns about the role of Iran in the region following the nuclear deal, particularly the use of money it will access after lifting of the economic sanctions. It is obvious that King Salman has shown ample confidence and determination to secure the vital interest of the country. Under this regime, the ministry will work with the targeted sectors and provide relevant trainings and promoted phased replacement of the expatriates, especially in highly skilled and semi-skilled professions.
