ABSTRACT

For the past few weeks, Palestinians from the Salfit region, Israeli activists, and international volunteers from IWPS and ISM have been meeting regularly to organize a peace camp against the Wall in a half-built school at the edge of Deir Ballut, a small Palestinian village that has since grown very close to my heart. The school lies on the expected path of the Wall and will therefore likely be demolished, something that we hope the presence of Israeli and international activists can help prevent, or at least publicize.
