ABSTRACT
One of IWPS’s projects is organizing opportunities for people unfamiliar with the situation in Palestine (especially American and Israeli Jews) to visit and see for themselves. Last year, IWPS took many Israeli Leftist activists into the West Bank on a ten-day tour called “Mikarov.” Two of my colleagues are currently developing a project to give West Bank tours to young Jews including those who have just participated in “Birthright Israel,” a program sending young Jews on a ten-day tour of Israel. My colleagues’ program is called “Birthright Unplugged.” 36
