ABSTRACT
The shape of the female world in 2020 will be viewed from both the occupational and the family perspective. The female world is viewed as both structurally and culturally different from the male world. For the research evidence on which this distinction rests, reference is made in my book The Female World (1981). It is too extensive to include here. But a brief sketch of the relevant structural and cultural aspects of the female world is called for.
