ABSTRACT

Linda Logan. Linda Logan grew up in a respected middle-class family of five children, in a small northern New England town. She married young and she and her husband had two children. They were a happy and normal family. But after some years of marriage an experience triggered awful childhood memories, long repressed, that began to haunt her. She told her husband that between the ages of 5 and 15 she had been repeatedly raped by her father and a brother. Some family members believed Linda; others did not. Meanwhile, Linda, with her husband’s loving support, went through years of therapy.
