ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of key concepts disussed in last three chapters of the book. It focuses on a teacher's difficulties in the face of uncertainty. Teaching ethics is accompanied by the difficulties intrinsic to the topic. A clarity of leadership is always a requisite for an educative learning environment. Integrating uncertainty into teaching and learning is essential for doing the job competently. It doesn't work to simply smooth out uncertainty; rather, it is necessary to show how uncertainty is a normal aspect of life's work that does not have to undermine good teaching or ethical behavior. The big picture in this chapter is presented as an interaction of the teacher's skills and the monumental problems of the content that must be included in the picture. Adult enthusiasm and the curiosity of other children about the exhibit translated into students enthusiasm and pride, whereas before there had been some skepticism about the project.
