ABSTRACT
Barack Obama means for the American Empire to stay in Af-Pak for long time. The American occupation has been more disastrous than that of the Mongols who sacked Baghdad in thirteenth century. Obama's conduct toward Latin America has been richly consistent with that of previous U.S. presidencies, including Bush administration. The administration has conducted military-training operations and supplied weapons to Georgia, site of a likely U.S. sponsored war with Russia in August 2008. New York Times article reported that Obama was pressuring the Iraqi government not to permit a popular referendum on U.S. withdrawal required by the Status of Forces Agreement(SOFA), the withdrawal document forced on the Bush administration by the Iraqi resistance. Obama won epic primary battle with Hillary Clinton largely because Obama was able to convince much of the Democratic Parties liberal base to believe in the fairy tale that Obama was a strong and consistent opponent of George W. Bush and Hillary's archcriminal invasion of Iraq.
