ABSTRACT
If a dozen men come to the first meeting, it’s likely that three or four of them will drop out before the semester is half over, but on the second night there will be just as many new faces in the room, men who missed the opening class for one reason or another, at least one who spent an hour sitting in an empty classroom in the wrong building.
