ABSTRACT
In this concluding chapter of my account of my collaborators’ and my comparative studies of social structure and personality under the contrasting conditions of apparent social stability and radical social change, I want to reflect on our distinctive mode of collaborative, cross-national research, on the methods we have used in our longitudinal and simulated longitudinal analyses, and on what we have learned from these analyses.
