ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the confusion over risk assessment terminology and attempts to counter this by identifying a number of separate aspects of risk assessment. All of these aspects are listed at the beginning of the chapter and the majority are then described in detail.
The chapter also deals with the recording and reviewing of risk assessments, and outlines other possible uses for risk assessment techniques.
