ABSTRACT
These provide an admirable introduction to the study of national bias in history texts, for they exhibit patriotic pre judices to a degree not found in American High school or English Secondary school textbooks. Several commonly used in Junior High schools of the United States are so blatantly nationalistic that they seem designed to propagandize rather than instruct.
