ABSTRACT
In terms of its historical environment and the composition of its student body, "K'angta is the heroic historical product of a great age" (Wang Ming). A school for the anti-Japanese United Front, K'angta does not belong to any party or faction. Enrollment is not closed to members of any anti-Japanese party, nor to any classes of society, and at the same time no one is excluded on the basis of race, religion, creed, sex, or occupation.
