ABSTRACT

The central committee of the Russian Communist party issued an appeal for "Work in a revolutionary manner", in which they adjured the communists to throw into industry the energy they had concentrated upon the Revolution. Lenin shows in many of his writings that his aim was to bring his conception of communism into relation with what he conceived to be modern progress, by declaring that the two objects of the dictatorship of the proletariat were, a struggle against the production of goods upon a small scale, and a struggle against the preservation and revival of capitalism. Labour is communistically united in Russia. Private property in the means of production has been abolished, and the proletarian government has organized, upon an all-national scale, great production in the lands and enterprises of the State. The proletarian government divides labour among the different branches of economy and distributes among the toiling people mass quantities of consumable products.
