ABSTRACT
An attempt has been made in the foregoing pages to trace the various immediate causes of the Russian Revolution, and to examine its effects in so far as these have developed in Russian life. The problem now is, can we go behind these immediate causes and discover the living but less obvious forces which inspired a series of movements upon a scale so vast and so bewildering?
