ABSTRACT

The Cochran Q is used to analyze data with more than two related samples that are nominally measured whereas the McNemar is used to analyze data with only two related samples. In the Cochran Q, there can be more than two possible conditions of the independent variable. Results might be written as follows: A Cochran Q test was run to determine if there is a difference between presentation methods influencing students who are interested in a helping profession career toward a more positive view of social work. If assessments were evaluated over a longer period, differences may emerge. Another aspect to be studied is the individual differences in children and their particular ability to perform under different assessment strategies. It could be that a particular assessment strategy works well with one type of student and another strategy with another type of student.
