ABSTRACT
This chapter examines remarriage and trends in living arrangements. The first part of the chapter explores remarriage as well as stepfamilies formed through cohabitation, remarriage, and births outside marriage. The chapter further delves into living arrangements such as cohabiting family, single-parent family, aging family, and grandparent family. From a diversity and global approach, the chapter analyzes retirement inequality and Living Apart Together living arrangements.
